  1. Hi,

Do you have a VPN for senegal. I am planning a move there and was wondering if you have or are planning to have one there. There is a US expat community there that may be interested in this service.

    Thank you,

    1. Hi lester,

I have yet to research Costa Rica, but expect that most of the providers listed in my 5 Best VPNs for Panama article would be suitable (if you require a VPN server in Costa Rica itself then ExpressVPN is a good choice.)

      1. Hello, thank you for your reply.
Is IPVanish a good choice for Costa Rica? Looks like they have a server in Costa Rica.
It seems like ExpressVPN keeps logs while IPVanish doesn’t.

        1. Hi Lester,

IPVanisah is not bad, and as you say, it does not keep any logs (ExpressVPN keeps no usage logs, but does keep some connection (metedata) logs.) IPVanish is a little tight when it comes to simultaneous connections ((1 using OpenVPN and 1 using another protocol), its software is a bit bare-bones (no VPN kill switch or DNS leak protection etc.,) and customer service is somewhat slow, but it does get many of the important things right (such as no logs, strong encryption, allows P2P, accepts bitcoins…)

  2. Hi,

I will soon be moving to France and would like to know which VPN you would recommend to enable me to access UK online bookmakers from France.

    Thanks in advance

    1. Hi Phil,

Any VPN service with servers in the UK should do. ExpressVPN (excellent all-round VPN for more casual users) and AirVPN (super efficient and secure for the more privacy and/or technically minded) are both good options.

  3. Please review Panama. Panama is one of the number 1 destinations for USA ex-pats so I am surprised it is not already listed.

  4. First of all thank you for this great website. Secondly I would appreciate if you reviewed both Finland and Austria at some point.

  5. Hello and thanks for all the useful info on the site.
Any chance we’ll see more east european countries on the list in the near future?

    1. Hi Richard,

Just about all VPN providers run servers located in the UK. The recommendations listed in our article on 5 Best VPNs for Mexico should also be good for Belize. If all you want to do, however, is watch UK TV (i.e. you do not care about the security and privacy advantages of VPN) then you are probably better off using a SmartDNS service instead, as these have less computational overheads, and are therefore quicker than VPNs (so less buffering issues). Take a look at our sister-site for more information.

  6. In your reviews you mention: “Using a VPN for Italy is as simple as paying and then installing a service.” That is not correct as paying is a major obstruction. Please advise how to solve the problem outlined in the email below sent to Support at Air VPN. I will appreciate your advice on how to solve this. I am concerned that I may be restricted to a VPN based in North America as they are the only ones I am able pay cash for.
Your reviews are great but have this one weakness of not addressing how to pay for a VPN.

    To AirVPN:
I have been trying your product on the free three day trial access. Thanks for this. I am very satisfied with it. I would like to pay the €54 for a one year subscription. The problem is how do I pay you. I looked at some of your suggestions but they are not user friendly or have serious security and privacy issues, such as being linked to my bank account. The whole idea of using a VPN is to preserve security and privacy.

We do not use debit or credit cards or online payments. We always pay cash, which of course cannot be tracked by Five Eyes and others. I can pay you the equivalent of €54 in USD or CAD in either the USA or Canada. I also have some euros left over from a trip to Europe so could pay in euros in North America.

I hope you can solve this problem. In the meantime I have again downloaded a free copy of Cyberghost and am using it. I prefer to use AirVPN but you will first have to solve the payment problem. I look forward to receiving a practical and simple solution.

    1. Hi Dikulushi
It seems like your taking your privacy extremely seriously which is nice to see, but as you can see for yourself it does cause some concerns.
The only company that accepts cash is Mullvad. You can pay for AirVPN by using BitCoin which is the most secure payment method available after cash. Most VPN providers will sever the tie between payment and account after receiving the money (CyberGhost does this as well) so even if the VPN provider was forced to hand over your account details they would only get your username and login (assuming they keep no logs).

    1. we’ll add it to the list. I checked a few companies and ExpressVPN and IPVanish have servers for sure (IPVanish has 2). Unfortunately BolehVPN who is a favourite amongst Asian customers doesn’t. By the off chance that an NL server is ok then virtually all VPN providers have this.

    1. Hello
The situation isn’t bad in Denmark and virtually all providers have a NL server which should provide you with great speeds, however we will added it to our to do list.

  7. Hello!
Do you have a discount for 50+ accounts?

Do you provide a solution where several VPN accounts can be used on one PC, for example with a seperate VPN account used for each browser: Chrome, Firefox, Opera etc.?
    Do you work in Estonia?
Hoe to contact you to discuss about your services?

    1. Hi Vadim,

We are a VPN review site, and do not sell any services ourselves. I can say, however, that VPN generally routes a whole computer’s internet traffic through the VPN, so no, that is not usually possible. Any VPN service should work fine in Estonia.

    1. Hi Sara,

Well, it sort of depends on why you want VPN. The further away a server is the slower a connection will be, so if the NSA does not bother you then I would suggest a good no logs US based provider with servers in Florida (such as Private Internet Access). Another good option (and my personal choice as NSA spying does bother me), is VPNArea – an excellent VPN provider based in Bulgaria (but which keeps its data in Switzerland), and which has a server located in Panama.

  8. Hi Peter,
I will be going to Peru soon, and wish to watch some geo-blocked Australian sites while I am there. I have read the article on this site about Overplay SmartDNS and was wondering if it would be suitable.

    1. Hi Chris
Yes Overplay will work, make sure you check out our competition page for some other services that will also work for you and you couldn’t get a huge discount on.

  9. Best VPN service while living in Kenya? Mainly wanted for unblocking blocked e-mail replies and for viewing USA Netflix, etc. Thanks for your help.

    1. Hi Candace
You seem to need a VPN for very simple reasons and it doesn’t sound like you need anything ultra high-tech. Therefore I think any of the ones listed in our Top VPNS list will do the job for you (incl TunnelBear).
We will also add Kenya to our to do list.

  10. Is SwissVPN from Monzoon Networks AG in Switzerland reliable? I cannot figure out if they are logging any usage at all and their internet speed reduction seems rather big…
    Any suggestions?

    1. Hi Detko
We haven’t heard of them before your comment (there are a lot of VPNs out there).
Looking at their website doesn’t really give you a lot of help either.
I’d recommend choosing a VPN from one of lists as this should help with improving your VPN speeds.

    1. Hi Tolga
We will do a full list soon, for the moment however, I know that IPVanish, VPNArea, NordVPN and Express definitely have servers there. To find out which one is the best for you, you can read the reviews. If you only want it for streaming we have had good speeds on all of them, but you can also test them for yourself. We’d love to hear your feedback.

    2. Hi Tolga,

We have yet to do a full review of the situation in Turkey (in part because it is changing so rapidly). Off the top of my head I know that PureVPN, Hide My Ass and VPNArea have VPN servers located in Turkey. If all you want is to watch Turkish TV then any of these are fine, although on more general grounds I would recommend VPNArea.

  11. Hi, I am trying to find the way to get Apple TV working with us servers in Poland. To watch netflix until now I used hola extension for google chrome, but now i would like to connect Apple TV directly to us servers.. what vpn service allows me to do so? I have heard that does the thing and also let you install vpn settings on your smart tv.. any opinion on that provider? Thanks

    1. Hi polska,

Check out our article on 5 Best VPNs for Apple TV ( For accessing US TV using your AppleTV or a smart TV, a SmartDNS service is your best option. Some providers (such as also provide standard VPN services that run alongside SmartDNS (you can find our review of at, but it was written before Unblock-Us started offering VPN).

    1. is a new player in the market of secure email etc who are based in Iceland. Asking their support about VPN services they said it is in beta testing at the moment. One could used their beta services which I offered and they sent me what I needed to do on windows 7.

I decided for the time being I use the open internet but at some stage I will go to a vpn service that is NOT in the USA, Europe, UK, Australia or New Zealand.

Big ask but maybe Unseen will be for me when they release their vpn service to the public.

    1. Hi W Roberts

We’re trying to do these as fast as possible – we promise. Hopefully should be up within two weeks. Sign up to our mailing list to find out when it’s posted.

    1. Hi czech republic,

We will look at VPN in and for the Czech Republic in more detail at some point, but for now I do know that ExpressVPN has a server there…

    1. Hi Giorno
Updated to the list. I think due to demand we’ll have to start with a general South America one.

    1. Hi Peter
We have added it to the list of to do. I had a quick look and the following I know for sure have servers in Slovenia: IPVanish and HMA. It’s a bit of an odd one unfortunately. If a Romanian IP is not necessary but you want quick speed then look for VPNs with servers with Austria which is a lot more common. If this is the case then I’d also recommend looking at CyberGhost.

    1. Hi Andre,

Ultimately, we plan to get round to pretty much everywhere. I did do a little preliminary research on VPN for Brazil a while back, but because censorship and copyright issues are minimal for those inside Brazil, and because very few (any?) VPN companies are based there, I decided to put the article on a bit of a back-burner. I will however look into the subject again in the near future.

    1. Hi Shaked

Not yet but I’ve put in on the list. For the time being I recommend looking at either the Iran or Iraq list.

    1. Hi Ivone

Request added to the list. Best way to find out when it’s published is by signing up to our newsletter.

    2. Hi Ivone,

IPVanish, Hide My Ass, and VPNArea have servers in South Africa (I personally would recommend VPNArea)… We will publish an article on VPN in South Africa in the near future.
