Paying for a US or UK Service From Overseas
In order to sign up for most online streaming services, you will need a local payment method. Luckily, you can get virtual payment services to make it seem like you are in the US or the UK. These virtual payment services are available online. Here are some examples:
- Entropay provides a virtual US/UK credit card service (and virtual payment options for other locations around the world too) that allows people to “Create disposable virtual cards on the fly and pay online like a local.”
- Money Polo provides a virtual credit card service that will allow you to pay for HBO or Now TV online. This service is said to be a little bit cheaper than Entropay.
- EcoPayz allows people to make a one-time payment virtual credit card. This is great for people that only want to use it once.
These services are currently untested by our team, but they should work fine. There are also plenty of other virtual card services on the market and any one of them might be a reasonable option – but please take care to do some research before you use any of them. The three services mentioned have a good reputation.
Season 5 Spoilers
When is Episode 4 of Silicon Valley Season 5 “Tech Evangelist“?
The fourth episode of Silicon Valley Season 5 is called Tech Evangelist. It will air on HBO on Sunday, April 15 at 22:00 ET.
In episode four Richard tries to woo a gaming company to PiperNet. Unfortunately, he accidentally angers a long time business ally in the process. Meanwhile, Dinesh deals with a betrayal of his own – while Gavin leaves his employees a cryptic message that they must struggle to make sense of.
Silicon Valley Season 5 So Far
In the first episode (Grow Fast or Die Slow) Richard got stage fright at the prospect of having to manage a sudden increase of employees. The hilarious skit had him throwing up in a bucket in his office in front of hundreds of new employees at Pied Piper. The aim, of course, is to deliver the firm’s vision of a “new internet.”
The premiere also saw the show taking a jab at Facebook: in the opening credits Facebook is written in Cyrillic font (which looks like Russian text – and is thought to be a subtle stab by the show’s makers for Facebook’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election scandal). In episode 2 of Season 5 of Silicon Valley – Reorientation – fans of the show saw Gavin Belson from Hooli continue to thwart Pied Piper’s attempts.
In episode three, Pied Piper continues to struggle with expanding the business and getting new coders. Richard receives a surprising business proposition, while Gavin at Hooli tries to set up a business deal of his own – one that he hope will damage Pied Piper in the process!
What to Expect from Silicon Valley S5
At the end of Season 4, things had got pretty chaotic for the Pied Piper boys. Richard had become embroiled in a deep web of lies, Jared had begun planning to leave the startup, and Gavin had managed to get himself reinstated as Hooli CEO.
Still at war with Pied Piper, Gavin had begun threatening to put an end to Richard’s firm. However, Richard still had some fight left in him and promised to hit back at Hooli by making its technology obsolete.
Season 5 will kick off with Pied Piper moving up a notch and taking on more staff, but will Richard be able to control the firm as a new batch of hilarious chaos is unleashed?
