Where Can I Watch The Walking Dead Season Eight?
If you want to stream The Walking Dead season eight, you’ll need a VPN to spoof your IP address to a location in the US. In addition, you will also need a subscription to the cable TV network AMC. You can watch Walking Dead on AMC’s website directly, but you will need to log in using valid US cable TV credentials. If you are a US resident, but you are out of the US on vacation or on business, simply use a VPN to pretend tobe in the US and log in to AMC.
If you don’t have valid TV log in details, the easiest and cheapest way to watch The Walking Dead season 8 is via Sling TV or PlayStation Vue.
Both streaming services offer live TV options over the internet with monthly subscriptions – no contract necessary. Both Sling TV and PlayStation Vue will be premiering The Walking Dead season eight on AMC. Our recommended streaming service is Sling TV, as it includes AMC in its package and only costs $20/month. By using Sling TV, you can also be among the first in the world to view The Walking Dead’s 100th episode premiere in only two days time!
Please read the next section of the article if you intend to purchase a US subscription from outside the US.
Purchasing Sling TV with a Virtual Card
In order to purchase Sling TV (or another US streaming service) from outside the US, you’ll need to purchase a virtual card. A great website to do this is Entropay, as it provides a virtual US credit card service that allows you to pay online like a US resident. Another virtual credit card service is Money Polo, and is said to be a bit cheaper than Entropay.
If you only want to use your virtual credit card once, you can use a service like EcoPayz that provides one-time payment options. While these services are currently untested by BestVPN.com, they do get good reviews from other internet users. In addition to these three services, there are dozens of other virtual credit card services on the market.
Just remember: do some research before putting your trust in them. At the very least, the three services listed above appear to have a good reputation. Either way – a virtual card is worth it if it means you get to watch the mid-season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead!
Why Should You Watch The Walking Dead?
The Walking Dead first premiered back in 2010, and since then it has grown in popularity so much that it’s now the most favored zombie-related TV show of all time. Many Walking Dead viewers started at the very beginning by reading the Walking Dead Graphic Novels that started publication in 2003. Since then, The Walking Dead TV Show has stuck so close to the graphic novels that fans have (almost) nothing to complain about.
Even better – the graphic novels foreshadow many episodes to come. If you’re tuning in on February 25th for The Walking Dead’s 100th episode (and you should be), you will most likely not be disappointed. Word is, the 100th episode will be bigger and better than any of the previous season episodes. Aren’t you geared to find out?
Watch Talking Dead Live
If you’re an avid fan of The Walking Dead, you should definitely tune in for their post-episode talk show titled the Talking Dead. Talking Dead premieres on US cable TV right after The Walking Dead. Regardless of what country you’re located in, you’ll be happy to know you can watch the Talking Dead by using a VPN.
The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 16: Wrath
We are only days away from The Walking Dead’s Season 8 episode 16. It will air on ABC on Sunday, April 15, 2018. In the UK it will air on Fox UK on Monday, April 16, 2018. The episode is called “Wrath.”
In episode 16 of The Walking Dead, we’re left wondering if Negan will ever accept peace or if he’ll fight to kill Rick and Rick’s allies until his last breath. In episode 15, Negan returned to the Sanctuary, where he was able to once again take his place as the leader of the Saviors. Towards the end of the episode, we find out that Negan has also known of Dwight’s disloyalty – which leaves us wondering, what could possibly happen next?
Quick Recap Of The First Half of the Season
Aron and Enid were left imprisoned by the Oceanside leaders, after accidentally killing their Grandmother, Natania. The sad part is, the duo were headed to Oceanside in an effort to make amends after stealing their guns. Upon being ambushed by what they thought was a walker, Enid open fired and ended up killing Natania instead.
Back in Alexandria, Carl overhears Negan offering an ultimatum: the people of Alexandria must give up themselves and Rick or face a downpour of grenades instead. Carl instantly formulates a plan to help the people of Alexandria escape and while Daryl leads the escape, Carl faces Negan by offering up himself in place of the rest of Alexandria.
When Negan realizes he was tricked by Carl, he orders his men to blow up Alexandria and capture Carl in the process. Fortunately, Carl escapes through the sewer. In the meantime, the Saviors are on a rampage – attempting to acquire the Hilltop in the process – though Maggie refuses to bow down and instead fights back.
At the end of the episode, Rick arrives back in Alexandria only to find their home in flames. After showing down with Negan, where Rick gets the upper-hand and Negan manages to escape, he runs into Michonne. Michonne then takes Rick to the sewer, where the remaining bodies are hiding, including Siddiq. Sadly, the episode ends as Carl explains it was him that brought Siddiq and then shows Rick a bite mark on his side.
Walking Dead Season 8: Part 2 Trailer
The talk of the web right now is whether or not Carl will die. In the teaser trailer for The Walking Dead’s 100th episode, you can clearly see Rick standing over Carl’s grave. Carl, who’s been around since he was a wee little sapling in season one, is one of the more popular characters on The Walking Dead. His death will not be met with applause.
Back in December, the chief content officer of The Walking Dead, Scott Gimple, explained that Carl’s life-ending decision to hunt zombies was a “callback” to the last words spoken by Carl’s mother, Lori, in season 3: “If it feels easy, don’t do it. Don’t let the world spoil you.”
Still, Gimple also insists that Carl’s death is not the end of his story. “This is one of the hardest deaths ever, but I believe this is a really important story with an important message,” he explains. “It’s an unbelievable tragedy to see this character go, but his death is not the end of his story.”
How Will Rick Handle It?
Rick, Carl’s father, is shown breaking down in tears with Michonne in The Walking Dead mid-season 8 finale, after Carl shows the bite marks on his side. Some fans will say Rick’s emotions are often a driving force in the choices he makes. How will he handle the death of his son?
Some fans predict that Rick will have a complete breakdown – causing massive tragedies in his wake. Others assume from the Season 8B teaser trailer that Rick will pull himself together and do what his son would’ve wanted: survive. Regardless, this tragedy is sure to have lasting effects on Rick. We can only wonder if those lasting effects will be in a positive or negative light.
The War Wages On
Of course, the war continues to wage on in The Walking Dead’s mid-season 8 premiere. After half a season of Rick leading Alexandria, the Hilltop and the Kingdom in a war against Negan and the Saviors, it seems the good guys finally have the upper-hand. The question is: how long will the upper-hand last?
With The Walking Dead’s next episode only a few days away, we won’t have to wait long to find out!
